[Mar 7, 2011] Star Mega DO III launch party! (New York, NY)

Greetings all,

It's that time of year again, time to launch the ultimate travel junkie field trip!

This year we are teaming up with Greg Lindsay again who is launching his book at this venue as well.

An hour of free cocktails and appetizers are to be had.

Who else will be there?? Frequent Flyer Guru and milepoint.com founder Randy Petersen, Jeff Zidell (head of Gold Passport) and of course the entire Star Mega DO team.

I would love to but will be in ORD the week before.... and might be hard to explain away another day from work (i.e. what I have undertaken to plump up the travel coffers). We know you will do a jam up job of getting it all sorted. Glad I held off on booking my Argentina ticket for September!

I've never been to a do but by chance will be in NYC that week. If there's space I'd love to attend.

What is it with FT/MP'ers absurd OBSESSION with this hotel??? Might it have something to do with the fact that it's somewhat nice, but since it's in a total CRAP location, it's CHEAP? Yeah, that must be it.

I doubt it's 'cheap', as no promo room rates have been posted for this event, yet! There are likely 'relationship-building' benefits -- for both MP & the property!

I'm sure you guys will have a great time at the Andaz. Even if I can't make it for the party, I'll be in for SMD3 for sure! SMD2 was a blast.
