FWIW, my 1K arrived today. It was sent from Rapid City, SD and delivered FedEx (express, not ground), standard overnight. I am in SFO, zip code 941XX.

I am sort of caught in between. I am somewhat of an old time UA flyer and a CO person.
You have to feel for the UA people, all that is left is the name.

That said, I AM SO HAPPY.

Enough with the dual system bullshit. Its time to merge...(fully)

    Now pss.united.com displays

We are currently updating our website and reservations systems. This will temporarily affect our ability to serve you online and over the phone.

That's better than a site that for some people might look like a real site (despite the disclaimer they had on the top).

    Are you a standard 1K or a MM 1k?

I haven't gotten mine yet and when I called to ask and said some say they got it via FedEx the agent said mine would not arrive that way. I assumed since I'm not a MM 1k.

    Smooth sailing in LHR T1!

By my eye, United has things well in hand. I had pre-printed boarding pass so no reason to wait around after the passport check but checkin was a manual process. Fortunately, staffing was about 2x normal. Lots of folks walking around with clipboards getting passenger info while standing in line for the checkin desks. Premier lines a little longer than normal. GM lines shorter than normal. I'm guessing that's because GM area usually has a few closed desks but all were open. My curb through security time was 13 minutes.
I was told no seat changes at this time by one of the clipboard agents.

The transfer desk was also two deep with staffing and only a short line.

My OLCI boarding pass was swapped for a manual (i.e. handwritten) BP at the star alliance lounge. Only took about two minutes as they had 4 agents dedicated to the process. Strange that they wrote my old MP number on the BP.

Also, saw a thick document describing the PSS day 1 proceedures on the counter. Good job training your staff, UA!

UPDATE: Looks like manual boarding. LHR has secure gates and they are essentially boarding us as we enter the gate area (take half of BP, correlate with luggage on massive pile of paper with luggage bar codes). For the first time today, I encountered a line of significant length.

Boarding by class/status and then row number for Y. No seating zones on handwritten BPs.

I'm guessing later flights will go smoother as systems return. Still, I see at least 6 GAs for a single 772. Not bad!

    Hi Everyone,

Our united.com transition is almost complete. Please feel free to start exploring, but, please note that updates to some features are still in progress.

Mad house at Logan... Not the worst I've ever seen here but really crowded and elite lines backed up as well.

Took two quick pictures will show later.

Good news, my BP shows correct as 1k... :)

Will check all reservations and mileage balances for accounts I handle. Looks good at first glance. I'm sure there will be some minor glitches along the way as this is no small undertaking! Hopefully the end (in a good way) is now in sight!

UA and co EQMs do not appear combined to Premier miles yet, but I believe I saw that logging in will trigger that to occur in the next few days.

Looks like there's no ability to book award flights on Star Alliance partners via the new website. This was really easy on continental.com. Hope this is a glitch and not a permanent change.

If I recall, this was a known gap, put in place deliberately during the integration. I would count on this functionality returning in the near future. Point 4

Edited to reference MP thread as opposed to FT (like original post)

    Shannon,

Just noticed generated e-ticket receipt email -- it is no longer showing any status, only my account number.

Is this a glitch or working as expected?

    Thanks for your help!

    -----------

Can someone else here generate a email ticket receipt and let me know if they see the same behavior?

    Thanks!

Mwg25 just arrived from PDX to ORD and are in the B terminal UC club. Boarding pass to LGA was scanned without issues and we were in!

Not crowded yet and don't know what it's like at check in here. But no one seems upset.

Told the guardian at the UC "Happy United Day!"

Thanks for the pointer, I had forgotten about it. Point 4, however, was about Star Alliance upgrade awards. I'm referring to the ability to book award tickets generally, using the website. Award flight search is only returning UA metal.

I'm seeing the same. I'm certain that this is a temporary thing, not a policy change that they are killing that functionality.

    Hi Everyone,

Thank you for sharing your experiences. There are two items we're looking into:

    1. Changed/missing seat assignments
    2. Unexpected itinerary modifications resulting in a need to have tickets reissued

If you run into any scenarios, any details you'd like to share are appreciated.

I have one itinerary in May that's showing up as "A modification has been made to your itinerary. Please contact United Reservations to have your ticket reissued." Should we PM you directly? Not really concerned since there's ample time before travel and lord only knows how busy (and sleep deprived) you all are.
