It was working fine until around last nightish. The app just gets stuck on the "connecting now..." splash screen and doesn't go anywhere?
Hmm.. running into the same issue on iphone and ipad. Tried rebooting, on wifi, off wifi on 3g, on a different wifi to the same results. I'll try removing the app and redownloading.
Just downloaded from the Apple App Store the latest version of the milePoint iPhone app release just this evening .. thanks for continuing to support it!
Am noticing that the latest milePoint app version seems to be more efficient. My battery usage is less now than with previous versions of the app. Thanks for the tune-up (Posted from my milePoint enabled iPhone)
I think what I like about the app is it does allow me to keep on milePoint much more than a laptop or desktop computer does... also for some reason the way I am able to subscribe to forums on the app (not yet available on the web based version) allows me to follow more easily.
Totally agree with this. I love the forum subscription available on the app (just wish it was stores on the the backend so it would persist over multiple devices - but once it is available on website, that will happen). Though I do love the alert features of the website. But in general, I have been uber impressed with the iPhone (and iPad) app. Sent from my iPhone using milepoint
If you go into the "Forums" option in the app, choose a forum, and then (at least on the iPhone version) in the top right corner choose the arrow button, you will have an option to "Add to Favorites' By doing that it adds to your subscribed list of forums you access through the app by choosing "More", then "Subscribed", then choose the "Forums" tab across the top to see al your subscribed/favorite forums...
Using iPhone3 . When I go to Forums and click on the arrow in upper right corner drop down box choices are Refresh Page, Mark as Read, Logout, Cancel. What am I doing wrong? Also , when reading threads some times the lines of a post are quadruple spaced, and the posts themselves have several "pages" of white space between them. Lots of scrolling necessary. I thought I removed the program then downloaded it again, but perhaps I just deleted the icon because it started right up again without having to log in. Any suggestions would be appreciate.
Maybe you're not running the latest version? Maybe the latest version isn't supported on the iPhone 2? See screenshot below for what my menu looks like. Someone else reported this in another thread. The only thing I can suggest is that maybe you don't have the latest version. Check the app store for updates. Sent from my iPhone using milepoint
You are doing nothing wrong ... at that point you are not yet in a forum - just a list of the forums ... go one level deeper and choose a forum ... then do the arrow again and see what it shows you ...
I'd like to see a thread "iPhone Help: No question too stupid" but I don't want my name attached to it!
This is milePoint ... There are no dumb questions lili. Just answers (Posted from my milePoint enabled iPhone)
How come I have to pay substantially more for an iPad than a US consumer when the AUD$ is stronger than the USD$ and it is made in China anyway ?
