I've been thinking the same thing. I posted the following on a conversation:
A second free idea, that would require Randy’s support, is to leverage the announcement section of MilePoint and replace the Kip Hawley advertisement area (when not used) with rotating member quotes about Kiva and why loaning is important to them.

What makes you think she's not already a member?

I am always willing to revise it to just bringing her a Kiva card to say thank you! Now, who's offering to fly me there!

I really like that idea.

She has not yet worn any MPKLT logowear in any of her photos online. Nor has miles & smiles reported seeing anything in his video surveillance as he follows her.

We are doing well this month but:

we still have $21,650 to go to make our money goal

we still have 1,244 loans to go to meet our loan goal

however we've surpassed our member goal by 89 members, with 70 new members this month so far (remember the odd goals chart counting)

Please everyone loan!! We may not make our number of loan goal because many people have been making larger loans this month so we'd need to make $25 loans only getting us to $31,100 more, if we were to meet that goal.

(cross post) In light of jbcarioca's post, I added new money to make some more loans this month. Please consider doing something similar. As his post indicates we especially need more loan counts to meet our monthly goal - that includes single loans - so anyone with $25 to spare can help!

Another 500 in!

Do you guys keep reloaning, or extract cash and then relend? 5x UR points make this a neat opportunity to both save up points and give.

Seems to be a mix. There are some that withdraw and relend every couple of months (or even sooner,) and there are those like me that just let it ride.

I've yet to withdraw. I've been told that it might be best to do less frequent larger withdraws, rather than very frequent smaller withdraws.

Mostly keep it in, though I have taken a repayment back after having lent in advance at the start of the month.

How do you get 5X UR with Kiva?

Buying a Visa or Amex gift card from an office supply store with a Chase Ink Bold card, then using the card to pay Paypal. There might be others, as well.
