Misconnecting on British Airways

I'm looking at booking a British Airways flight to LHR after arriving from FRA on another ticket. The connection is fairly but there are other flights later in the day. In the event I miss that flight, what is the rebooking/standby policy?
I've never cheated on Star Alliance or really even United for that matter, so I'm entirely ignorant of non-UA policies.

If you misconnect you'll be treated as a no show and will need to buy another ticket. Depending on your original fare rules you might get a credit towards the new fare (or may not).

That makes that decision easy. Thanks.
