Thanks for your suggestion, but we do prefer to invest our resources into actually creating, maintaining and constantly improving a powerful and useful product, instead of hyperbolical marketing pieces.

Likewise, our members tend to enjoy actually using the KVS Tool much more than they would enjoy reading PR materials about it.

It has been working for the past ~7 years. The approaches that really aren't working have already been discussed earlier on in this thread.

I can understand that. It does what it does quite well, as long as you've got the right OS. And searches for redemption availability can be carried out without invoking the program's dodgy side.

It's a shame that there isn't a clean, honest version. One that only uses credentials provided by me, and provided to me by airlines (e.g. my M&M or QF login), to make my searches faster or more powerful.

That comment is pure fiction. Yes there are many KVS updates, and sometimes there are more than at other times, in a marketplace like airlines that literally changes daily. My I tunes has been updated many times recently as well.
Most of us here would rather pay a lot less and get first class all the time and not be wasting our money on overpriced fares. Most of us succeed at that as well.

But we hope you have fun spending your money.

Yeah but the problem is iTunes is free and is an application. The "updates" for the "KVS Web Browser" as he calls it are to fix functionality that one of his sources shut down.

KVS is a tool and that qualifies as an app.I think you are making scurrilous statements w/o full knowledge of the facts.

KVS has delivered more than enough of that for one thread. It's hard to blame others for jumping in and exaggerating a little.

So Terry, how do you know KVS? Friend? Family?

I pay him just like most people do and like the Tool a lot. It has saved me a lot of time and helps me with timing on upgrades and other flight related stuff......no ulterior motives like some so called ethical characters.

Despite his intriguing use of "we" in post 156, there's no need to suspect TQ of any ulterior motives. Googling the AKA kindly provided in his signature will quickly show you that his discussion style is always this restrained, sophisticated and well informed and that he's a long time fan of the KVS product. Nothing wrong with that, and I appreciate his being up front about who he is on canflyer and about one of his former FT identities. See also his own self-introduction here on MiPo.

Reading through some of the ancient history, KVS appears to have been cultivating enemies for many years now. Not all of them have been sensible and polite, so I suppose it's not surprising to see an "attack is the best form of defence" approach by his supporters.

The "we" is because there are other more silent supporters of KVS who suspect things the same way I do. Maybe if you were a little more forrthcoming it might take an edge of or make it sharper

That would be a little inappropriate, as things stand. I'm not Canadian, don't live in Canada, don't have an Aeroplan account and have only ever flown two AC segments. But thanks for the invitation.

There's no reason not to "say it like it is" here, though.

It was KVS himself who said his "app" was a more of a web browser and compared himself to Netscape among other things.

I believe he said something like:
The KVS Tool is a specialized web browser application, that has been built with dumb frequent flyers in mind.

I got my Itunes with the purchase of m Ipod and that's how I thought people could get them. Pardon my ignorance
