Finally, no longer Ferragamo.
So that's what I have to look forward to? No more perfume bottles?
How come its the same design, just different names?
EDT and aftershave are available in the toilets. These are definitely better toiletries in terms of brand and quality.
Furthermore, they are more useful as what they are supposed to be....as toiletries inflight...not as what some pax do: giveaway of perfume bottles to friends, loved ones, etc
I'm going to see it in less than 1 week.. Just hopes that I'm going to like it..
Thanks for the update!
You can send it my way if you don't like it
While I do like Kiehls products- better quality than Ferragamo?
I'll keep that in mind..
Do you know when they started with the Kiehl's kit? Was it just starting this month?
Even L'Occitane's moisturizer in J is better than the Ferragamo one in F/R.
Ferragamo is a leather shoe maker... perhaps I'd go to them for shoes but toiletries? Hmm...
Well this makes me less sad to not be flying sq first!
Chacune a son gout
I know Ferragamo quite well- it is true their largest business is leather shoes. They do have thriving businesses in accessories, clothing, hotels (Firenze/Roma and soon Milano), and a large licencing business with cosmetics- I am not sure that L'Occitane would be any better as it would really depend on the particular licencing contract.
It is reasonable to say the same thing about Gucci- however Gucci makes more money from fragrances and sunglasses than their core business as an example.
Perhaps I should clarify that I've actually tested/used the products on board ALL of them.
but The correct expression is "à chacun son goût" -- "to each his own (taste)."
Whoops .... my french is too rusty, sorry
I like that Kiehl's is something I can actually go buy in the store. I am not a Ferragamo kind of guy. I wouldn't know what to do with their stuff, even if soap is soap.
Here are the details of the goodies in the pouch
Is that C or F?
Should be F since SQ doesn't give out amenity kits in C.
It will show I don't fly SQ C very often (thanks evouchers, good fares out of MXP, and M&M)- I have quite a few F kits kicking around- is there really no longhaul C kit? Really? I seem to remember some comfy socks for example?
Yes, just the comfy socks and eye mask. I don't consider them to be amenity kits though given what other airlines give.
Got the old Salvatore Ferragamo kit in plastic bag on my flight yesterday..
coz I think they know you like perfume bottles
The crew didn't even know they've changed to Kiehl's
