I'm a little surprised that such a significant investment was made for 3 flights. I recognize and agree that lounges are essential to quality premium class travel but I thought that Cathay and Emirates might have been a bit more restrained.

With that being said, I'm happy to be wrong!

CX is definitely going to be reaping some additional $ from other OW status flyers who choose the CX lounge if it is available at the pre-departure hour.
