According to the Ts and Cs:

Triple miles will be calculated at 200% of the base miles earned; double miles will be calculated at 100% of the base miles earned. Bonus miles do not count toward elite status qualification or toward Million Miler status.

That means that a participating member will receive a total of 2x over the base which is equal to triple miles, not 3x over the base which is equal to quadruple miles.

Thanks for the clarification and confirmation! I was getting unnecessarily confused because of the ongoing stackable DEQ11 promo, which awards 2x EQM / 2x RDM, as well as factoring in the EXP or Plat 100% bonus on base miles.

Anyone heard from wijomas in the last 48 hours? What are the odds he's been detained by the Chinese due to suspicious travel patterns?

Last I saw, he was aboard his flight back to ORD from PVG. If we don't hear from him after the third trip, then we'll know something went wrong (good thing I'm going back there at the end of the month.. I can bail him out of prison )

You need to get there much sooner, by the end of the month he will probably be in charge of the prison and have everyone signed up to the next MegaDO, leaving us on the ground.

Nah, with all the debauchery promoted by the MegaDO site, I'm sure it is blocked by The Great Firewall of China, so they won't be able to sign up.

Me, at 4:30am: "Can I get some fries?"
McDonalds guy: "No."
Me: "What time did breakfast start? I thought it was 5am?"
McDude: "No."
Me: "Has breakfast started yet?"
McDude: "No."
Me: "So can I have some fries please?"
McDude: "No"
McGirl: "No fries... no fries, we make hash brown."
Me: "I want fries... is it breakfast yet?"

There was an awful lot of "no," and not a lot of "yes". And the Chinese customs guy on my unscheduled detour to Shanghai (instead of Beijing), I am fairly certain, called me a "crazy motherf***er" when I entered China from Chicago for the second time in as many days...
