We are excited to announce that seven of our most luxurious resorts can now be redeemed for 35% fewer Starpoints. From bookings made now until March 1, 2014, the seven resorts listed below will offer Free Night redemption for 35% less. Due to the type of rooms these resorts have, they must be redeemed by calling one of our SPG customer contact centers and cannot be booked online. The redemption savings are taken at the time of booking and no registration is required. Furthermore, our 5th Night Free benefit applies to these lower redemption rates. More information at complete terms are at spg.com/paradiseiscloser.

WOW! Still outrageous but much better, nonetheless. Kinda-sorta affordable. Any reason the W is 58.5k while the LM is 39k? I notice different previous values, but they're both Cat. 7s.

The W Retreat & Spa Maldives starts with their award availability at the specialty suite level rather than the standard suite level. There are various levels of suite awards, depending upon the property. If you were to book one of these here, it would be Suite 3 as opposed to Suite 2 or just standard suite.

The cost in Starpoints is also the same regardless of whether it would normally be considered high season.

If you have a 35% Off One Redemption Platinum Gift, can you apply that on top of this if it's not a Category 7?

The terms of PoC seem to say they can be combined IF the other offer explicitly permits it. The 35% Off Redemption offer doesn't explicitly permit or prohibit, so there might be some gray area?

Would love an official ruling on this if possible.

Officially, no. Your first hurdle would be that the 35% off redemption offer is for standard rooms only and this offer is for suite-only properties, so the room types aren't identical.

Fair enough and thanks. Can't blame a milepointer for trying, and these are still great deals.
