    Hmm it needs to be further south and east...I'm going to take an educated guess with Port Heiden.

    It would fit all of the clues that have been provided so far.

    It Gardyloo's post is indicating that RedTape is wrong with the lat & longitude, then I'd think the most likely candidate is Atka Island.

    *Ding* ADK - Adak. I went up that way on Labor Day weekend in 2006. We lucked into some great sunny (albeit windy) weather. Arriving on Thursday and leaving Sunday, we covered quite a bit of the Island on foot, paid $10 for a pound of hamburger, and encountered the absolute worst, rudest Alaska Airlines employee ever. (Good thing she's out in the sticks!)

    AFAIK ADK is the westernmost jet-capable airport in the world, certainly in the USA. Interestingly, SYA - Shemya (USAF base) is the easternmost airport in the USA. It was the next stop on Reeve's Electra (and briefly 727) run out the chain.
