I'm surprised this has gone on for a while. As for what I think about that, the current McDonald's slogan -- with spelling altered -- comes to mind.

This corporate headquarters, however, is several states away from that of Mickey D.

Yes, there are certainly differences -- no hub-and-spoke and front-line personnel who are encouraged to innovate -- but still, I would call Southwest influential.

At this point probably not worth elaborating on, but moving toward giving it away I had asked people to get the "town" but drop the "to,". Trying to get at the Southwest code "WN" .

Actually in a former life last century I wrote clues for my newspaper's annual treasure hunt, and my rap with the circulation sales department was that my clues were too EASY and the prize found too soon, thus quashing extra daily sales!

Regarding my reference today to the McDonald's slogan: I'm lovin' it. The stock-market ticker symbol for Southwest Airlines Co. is LUV.
