Back to my fallback guess. MAD?
No flights from MAD to this airport. Our mystery airport probably sees more snow than MAD in a year as well.
Nonstop flights from MIA to Oslo??? Are we counting cargo planes here? (Maybe we should because some have more legroom than Y, ha ha.)
Not OSL, and no flights from OSL to our mystery airport either. Unlike OSL, our mystery airport is not a national capital. It is a hub for a major airline though.
Less traffic than PHX but a hub for a major airline - this is a mystery.
The area the airport occupies was originally used for automobile activity, not airplanes.
Yes, MSP. Formerly a racetrack, a DL hub, and with less traffic than PHX.
Here's the next one:
Quiet here tonight? Anyway, it's time for bed - a late night clue:
like the last airport, this one also gets a lot of snow.
Not ABZ. Our airport typically gets about 6ft of snow (about 1.9m) annually - quite a bit more than Aberdeen.
Not ANC and no direct flights from either ANC or ABZ.
Was that an airport code or a sign of frustration?
Not GRR and no flights from GRR either. ABZ is the closest so far.
Or, even, HELlo. Either way, it is HEL. Over to you.
Lucky Guess. Sorry for the delay. Been trying to keep the business going.
Okay, here is one to google.
Not even CLT, Maybe it's GSO?
Not either CLT or GSO. right part of the world.
This tower is operational even though it doesn't look it.
