I had booked 3 nights at the St Regis for December 23-26 and the rate I booked was 9,000 THB/night. Now with this sale it's 7,600 THB a night. That's a good savings for Xmas holiday!
This is going to make me stray from staying at a Hilton property in SE Asia in favor of SPG because, surprisingly, Hilton has no property's in Ho-Chi-Minh city, which I am considering including in my annual year-end "oriental escapade" this year...
The Sheraton Saigon Towers is supposed to be really nice (haven't been there yet, but booked there in Dec) and it's only about $150 night.
Too bad it's only through August, I need a hotel in BKK for one night in October. Not that prices are that high in Thailand to begin with though. I'm just cheap.
The comments above just made me look at the T&C and it seems that I will not be able to take advantage of this deal for my planned Dec-Jan oriental escapade because the terms are: book by August 3 but...
You mean your October BKK stay "would be valid"... I see, "would not be valid" because you are not booking to stay at a resort...
Are hotels in BKK considered resorts? I thought they were city hotels vs. a labled resort hotel like The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa in Phuket. The city hotel sale is valid till 9/30. Resorts 10/31.
