SkyTeam Do?

I've heard rumors of a possible SkyTeam Do. Are any active discussions underway? I'd be happy to assist in any planning.

I know based on another thread, chances are good that a SkyTeam representative will be attending the OneWorld MegaDO.

Interesting. Who would that rep be? Jeff? Paul? Or someone else?

Randy did not say, just said that he hoped a representative from SkyTeam would be joining everybody for the One World DO

I'd come to a SkyTeam DO, even if I don't join the charter, since it would be here at ATL (though maybe IHG would be the appropriate sponsor)

I support a Skyteam Do in RUH next year, in support of SV joining ST.

Give it a bit. The first oneworld mega DO is happening in January. I'm sure a SkyTeam mega DO is on the list, after this current mega DO is finished.

It could definitely be fun, though I think the launch party should be at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, just so everyone can experience the hotel that is responsible for so many hotels having Atriums (And it is just a $2.50 train ride from the airport)

In case you weren't aware, there is an Air France do at CDG in April over on Flyertalk in the AF forum. Co-sponsored by ADP. As both AF and ADP are footing the bill, I expect it to be very good.

Just had a call with the Boss today and we are finalizing the Skyteam Mega DO ideas right now.

Expect the FIRST Skyteam Mega DO in November 2012!

That's great! I predict a trip to Atlanta is in my future (~12 months future)

Looking forward to seeing the launch party. Any bets on the city yet? I'm thinking either NYC or ATL (You have to admit it would be insanely fun to have the launch party inside the DL Heritage Museum).

If the Do or any part of it is in Paris or Amsterdam, I can volunteer to help.
