Any scuttlebutt on when, or how, wait list folks will be notified if they made it, b/c of cancellations?

I'm trying to remember how this was handled for the one world launch party. Watch the list that is in the OP and also in firefly's post on page 12 of this thread that has a lot of the big wiatlist. At the very beginning, I moved up a few slots there before dropping off when I won one of the special Gold slots. You should also watch for email, which is how I first saw that I had won the Gold lottery, which was entered by email, not by posting on MP. Finally, if you see a new conversation here, read it right away.

I would guess that the waitlist will be cleared regularly as people who initially signed up early drop out and NOTIFY MP of this fact. If someone cannot attend, I hope they do the right thing and cancel their spot ASAP so that it can be offered to the next person on the list. It would be a shame to see people left out while others who are confirmed do not show.

I'm silver and I didn't see anything about having to email in your desire for a slot.....I have been trying to keep up with the posts so I don't miss any chances. It also looks like a lot of new folks are signing up for MP as a result of this announcement...
