Yep, same thing. One account has Mr. Wombat and the other has Dr. Wombat. I called Onepass (nice folks!) and they've fixed that, but still couldn't run the transfer of elite status. Apparently .bomb is having "System Malfunction" issues and I was told to try again online tomorrow.

wonder what happens if my CO status was status matched, so no EQMs flown in 2010 - will i still be matched on MileagePlus?

It says in the footnotes, you'll be a Prem Ex.

EDIT TO ADD: I based my comment on match to CO Plat status. Seems to be silent elsewhere.

Once we match status, can we get the physical card from the other airlines? That would be awesome[IMG]

The other great benefit of this is that any residual *Net blocking on UA can be dodged by just transferring those miles to OnePass and going on from there. That of course assumes that *Net blocking is alive and well (and I haven't checked since Jan) and that CO is honoring its commitment not to engage in the same practices.

I think the site said the new card and Elite Kit should arrive in 4-6 weeks....

    Yes,
    "
    * If you qualify for elite status in one program, we'll match your status in the
    other. For example, if you're currently a 2011 Mileage Plus(r) Premier(r) member,
we'll award you 2011 OnePass(r) Silver Elite status automatically and send you a
    card in the mail.
    "

On the website it says 4-6 weeks to get a card after your status is matched.

This capability will come in handy for many of us, but since I have no pressing need to transfer my CO miles to UA, I'm going to wait until Fall, just in case I want to book one last award trip through CO (which, unlike many others, I've always had good luck with - and no *Net blocking!).

Also, this is an obvious backdoor way to xfer AMEX rewards points to CO, then transfer all CO miles to UA...

I'm a CO Gold due to a status match. Anyone know how that's going to affect the UA elite matching?

As noted in the previously-posted chart, you'll be a UA 1P. :lightbulb:

I like this deal and I would love to do it but I am not sure I am eligible - I have a MP account, and I status-matched to CO silver around October last year. According to the T&C since I didn't have the miles to qualify I would not get matched over to UA, but my CO Silver is valid until 1/2012. Anyone else in this boat or have thoughts?

OK, UA trip in 10 days, hope the status match from CO Plat to UA 1P happens before then, so I can have UA change the PNR to use the UA status, but credit to CO (since their system is able to, unlike CO's). :D

Already transferred 30k miles in case I want to use miles to upgrade one part of that itinerary, although I must wait to be elite to avoid the co-pay on the domestic legs...

Crediting non-UA metal EQM miles to CO account will make them count as lifetime miles when the program merge I believe

Worked fine for me. Looks like I can now use my UA number exclusively for both UA and CO flights.

Say I match my 1K status to CO Plat. And then I choose to have 2011 UG's deposited into my CO account.

Now I fly UA metal with my UA FF number on the rez. I fly 10K of UA BIS miles in a quarter, but 0 on CO. Do I get the 2 CR-1's? And they are deposited into my CO account for use on CO metal?

To me, this is the most confusing aspect of this.

So quite simple, when you sign up you have to pick the "primary account" whichever you pick is where your regional and SWU upgrades will be deposited in. You can only make this choice when signing up and can't change it later. So I'd select the account which you'll use most, in my case that is CO.
