    No, the Ritz is now Ravella. This property was originally a Hyatt and most recently a Loews. Mrs. Flier and I had lunch out there once when it was a Hyatt. Nice place. (But not a good place to stay if your intent is to spend a lot of time on the Strip. A good place for a relaxing getaway or for golf.)

    Ah, yes. The Loews. Had no idea it was ever a Hyatt. No question it's not convenient to the strip, but I do like the setting.

    Looking forward to it! Gonna be a challenge though to get the parents to stay there whenever we travel together as they prefer the action on the Strip. :confused:

    No availability at the Sheraton Keauhou. SPG website shows no availability going forward from January 3, 2013. Is the hotel closing down?

    I don't think it's closng. The new ownership may have elected not to renew their Starwood relationship. Can't find anything in the news.

    I came across this on Yahoo Finance this week..looks like there will be a Le Meridien in ATL

    Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. (NYSE:) recently closed the sale of the 275-room Atlanta Perimeter Hotel & Suites to RockBridge Partners, a division of RockBridge. Post sale, the property will undergo an extensive makeover in the coming 18 months and will be run under the name of Starwood’sLe Méridien brand.

    When I first saw this announcement, I thought it meant that there was a Four Points by Sheraton somewhere that somehow hadn't been part of Starwood but was now joining. The last sentence clarifies that this is a new property.
