    18 November 2011 - Singapore Airlines has firmed up an order with Boeing for eight more B777-300ERs for use on medium and long-haul routes.

    But, how would they fit the 748I into the picture? The already have the A380? :confused:

    Simple, fly to where A388 still can't fly and where 77W is too small for the load.. :)

    But they seem to be content with just using the 77W even though it is a reduction in capacity, like SFO route for example.

    On an unrelated note, my sister who seldoms fly SQ long haul just flew them to MUC last month and she asked me why now SQ flew such a small plane :D

    SQ just don't make sense anymore.. It used to, but now its just different..

    Tell your sister that she needs to switch to LH, coz now SQ is bad.. :p

    My sister does her flying mostly within Asia and is very happy with CX because even as lowly silver, her op-up strike rate is almost 100%! So I doubt she would want to switch over to the dark *A side :D
