    Watching this thread consistently here as well. As travel plan for 2012-13 are getting firmed up I really do not want to cross schedule for the same time the DO will be (plus I'll probably need plenty of miles for the reposition flights).

    This was in a previous post but worth posting again. If you want to receive a personal email when Mega Do details are announced go to www.megado.com and fill out the blanks to receive a personal email. Then you won't have to worry about missing out because you didn't get the information.

    I did :) - But my backup plan is to watch this, all of the time. ;-) I think that I will spend more time watching this than on MegaDo4. O well that is the price we pay............

    Not to add to all the speculation here...but LH is rumored to start flying 748i to/from ORD in September. Would be a perfect leg for SMD4, don't you think?

    Of course, wasn't the TATL leg on SMD2 suppose to be an A380 but then LH's plans changed?

    At SMD1 there was speculation that A380 first route would be FRA-JFK. But then LH changed it.
    LH had no A380s at that time, but the hanger was built.

    Yes, folks thought SMD2 would have A380 - but route did not happen at that time. Although LH was flying A380s.

    SMD3 - A380 - TATL to FRA then connection to MUC. About 45 attended.

    Of course - A380 is no more FRA-JFK.
    But I am very interested in 748 - based on Boeing tour on OWMD1 of the mock up center.

    As far as I can tell, NO......... We may find out at the Pre-Party, and No we do not have a date or place for that also.:( But we are waiting........ and Waiting.......... and WAITING.......:D

    SMD1 and 3 were the first week of September - the week of labor day. TATL was on Labor Day night.
    So you might want to keep that week open. Now is Asia were the destination - more time will be needed.

    I can probably make it on the Asian itinerary.. I can't make it on any other itinerary due to visa requirements. Would love to know soon.. :)

    You are right - the first week. Maybe it was SMD2 that was also Labor Day.
