|| Starbucks customer pays $47.30 for coffee ||
Now, excuse me, I need my daily "pick me up".....
Idiotic comes to mind here, unless the highest payer for a cup wins a trip to visit Juan Valdez.
I hope he didn't drink that s**t
Oh yes, he did. [ See Video ]
He had nothing better to do today. I wonder what's next?
a hole in his stomach!
Good way of using the free birthday drink! Wouldn't surprise me if Starbucks puts a limitation on how much the drink can cost...
........Now, you added this "idea" with the "limit" Jim! [ This will catch on with Starbucks corporate ]
Starbucks has to "enhance" their program too, no?
Lots of jitters and an overactive bladder.
Well, turns out I have a free drink in my account right now... I think instead of all those add-ons I'd just go for pure espresso. Probably more $$/volume than bananas.
What a waste of money.
To match the one in his head.
I'm surprised at the flood of negative comments here. The guy did a drink run for bragging rights. Is that so different from the stuff we do?
Just beat the record and spent $87.00 on a cup of coffee, just look at this thing!
yuck.. Thats not coffee. I can't believe someone would actually drink that mix of crap
It's now only a question of time until this "record" will be broken by someone out there, again.
Its not a very high threshold to beat. I have about 150 bucks loaded on my Starbucks card right now. I could get in my car and drive 3 minutes and break the record in 10 minutes.
But it's snowing and I already have a nice cup of french press coffee in my cup, so I'm not going to
You made the right choice, but I wouldn't be too surprised when Starbucks themselves came up with something of a contest surrounding this record, and as we all know, such offers work usually like a charm. Even when it's a corporate one. Plus, while maybe not much of a "high" monetary threshold is involved, it is one threshold which is "hard" to stomach, literally.
You don't have to use your money to beat his record... just wait till you get your birthday certificate from Starbucks which entitles you to any drink for free.
