Having just been in Denver this week and enjoying the Sim from our fundraising for the Jason Dahl Scholarship, it is extra sad to hear that Sandy Dahl passed a few hours ago ( read in Denver Post). Sincere condolences to family and friends who have lost another. RIP Sandy & Jason

That is very sad news. My condolences to her daughter and family, and those who worked with her over the last decade at the Jason Dahl Fund (Capt Dosch, Denny and many others)

Very happy gonna do the flightsim in denver tonight......

BTW I saw a lot of 787 looking wings on flatbed trucks along I-80 today!

Oh, the places I’ve crashed a sim. My favorite was right into Sugarloaf Mountain in Rio.

Maybe we should do a megado SIM crash locations page, just to see all the wonderful places, and give places to strive for

I thought it was a bit odd, but I liked that hotel the most out of the three.

Strangely enough, the email worked!! Had a two-day stay planned at Le Centre Sheraton and changed it to one day at the Hyatt and one day at the Sheraton so the grandkids could experience both hotels and learn about mattress running!

There’s also some sort of contest for a free night in a suite and dinner that’s linked in the email. That page is all in French with no translation that I could see, but I’m up earlier than usual, so eyes may not be at full power yet.

Hello All, from a time way in the past!

Yes, it’s been a while since SMD3. Yes, I shot a lot of video that’s not yet made it to Milepoint.com. Yes, I’ve been a naughty Do’er. But, I’m trying to be better.

As part of that, I’m pleased to let you know that I’ve just now uploaded the 1st part of the videos from Day 5 - Denver - for those of us who went to Buckley Air Force Base for the guided tour of an F-16. It’s covers us getting on the amazing van that was provided for us, hitting the road, and up to where we turned onto Base property.

The other vids of our arrival at the Base, and the guided tour we got is presently under review by the Base PR people. I agreed to let them vet the footage first before I posted it. I can’t imagine what they would object to, but I’d hate to post it without their approval, and then have the kind of special access we received be shut off to anyone else.

As soon as I get their approvals, I’ll post it up and let you know it’s here.
