If you live in any of these states you're eligible for AA extended double EQM promotion on routes from lax/sfo/sna to ORD and lax/sfo to DFW. Even if you continue past these aiports your double eqm is good on the DEQM segment!

Furthermore at lot of these flights can be booked for ~$260 or less than 5 cpm. Not as good as the 200 R/t far we saw before but not horrible either!

Sometimes I think I should use my sister's address in SoCal...then again, I have not been a California resident in quite a while. It would help get to EXP though!

Just move to TX for a week or two and cram in all your flight :)

If you hit EXP, Just make sure your sister doesn't throw away your new EXP card thinking it was junk mail!

Yeah, that would not be good...of course, I'm spending most of the time between now and June 30 in Afghanistan...so using this promo would be difficult...

You know open jaw is available! Oh Man, that would be a long flight. Are you in the armed services or are you going over there for business?

I do love it when a promo applies to a flight I already have booked. They're great about that.

Not only is it booked, but it just uses DFW as a transfer point. But that works, and they allow that also. Very cool.

Er, woman.... ;) I am both...I am a Navy Reservist and also work with the military as civilian...this trip is as a civilian. I have done LAX-ATL-KWI-KBL within a relatively short time before... ;) Fortunately, this is a short tour (just under 3 months) vice the longer ones.

I agree with Schnitzel, love it when it applies to a trip that is already booked. Problem for me, and probably others, is its on UAL.. Wife and me - PIA - ORD - LAX - OGG
    Sigh - :(

Best part of this promotion for sure!

There were 17 plus upgrade requests this morning on the DFW/SFO. 8 of them were EX Plat! Not including the ones that probably already cleared. When I checked yesterday there was only on seat available in First. It was truly amazing how many people boarded with status. It even looked like more elite then general passenger. Maybe I'll get lucky one of my other 3 flights today.

Well thank you for serving. I am on the board of a non-profit military charity and we have 10 to 15 Medal of Honor recipents that we honor at our event in TX every year. I am truly grateful for anyone who serves in the military :)

FYI, you can also do SFO-DFW-LGA RT for about ~260$ and get DEQM on the SFO-DFW AND DFW-LGA. If you prefer to head to BOS instead of NYC. That's running for about $320.

A single SFO-DFW-LGA RT should net you ~17,000 11,412 EQM (thanks, Rob). I'm gonna go on a limb and say that's kind of good.

Stupid question, but are the award miles also doubled?

Your math seems off. SFO-DFW-LGA-DFW-SFO would get you 5706 EQM, doubled is 11412 EQM.

SFO-DFW-SFO would have doubled award miles. I don't believe either DFW-LGA nor DFW-BOS get double award miles.

Under the assumption one is already PLT or EXP. In which case it would be:

    Base + 100% (PLT/EXP) + 100% (PROMO).

There are promos for Double Miles both on DFW-LGA and DFW-BOS.

You do NOT get 100% bonus EQM for being PLT/EXP, only bonus RDM.

    Thank you for the clarification!

Quick question guys: I'm currently booked on LAX RT to Austin direct. I'm PLT so could fly standby on a flight going through DFW for free. Would I still get those double miles if I got on standby going through DFW? Does the original booking matter? Thanks.
