I found a cdp code online that actually gives me 40% off on hertz rentals.

The code is officially for retired hertz employees,

It sounds to be the best code available

. Did anyone rent successfully with this cdp?

P.S. when I give them this code on a phone reservatio they ask me if I'm a retired employee. Otherwise, what will be the best CDP code to combin with PC# 144314 which waives 20-24 fees

Did PC# 144314 work with the retiree CDP? That would be funny.

I have not heard of this code previously but I would be interested to use it to get some cheap Grand Slam hits.

I'm GUESSING that if you ever have to visit the counter, you might run into problems.

The CDP is supposedly for Hertz retirees. I would assume that if you're Gold and skip the counter at the airport, you can just keep it moving and nobody might care.

But if for some reason you have to talk to someone and they decide that you need to show proof that you're a Hertz retiree, it could be uncomfortable.

I would imagine that it's like trying to take advantage of AAA or senior rates when you're neither.

Its all about saving money!! If you don't want to use it pay your 60 dollar rates. I use lease prices in my per day calculations.

hmm looks like the cdp removes the age difference without the need of a pc...can anyone confirm?

That is a great way to get rid of the hertz retiree code !! Keep on calling it in .

Yes it does. This is the best code for one ways too. Sure there are plenty of risks ie being put on do not rent list with Hertz but mpers and fters will do anything to save money and not pay for stuff so profits be damned lol.

Yes I know several people who use it and enjoy saving 40% a rental and earning 1,000 vs miles per rental.

I want to pay per day what a lease would be divided by 30 days.

    What I've found using it:

1.You cannot get FF miles with this rate. (Already argued with them). Not sure about Gold Club points.

    2. For some odd reason any PC I put with it RAISES the rental rate. Lowest is with just the CDP.

    3. It eliminates the 1-way rental drop-off fee !

Just did a few test bookings....amazing savings to be sure.

Wonder how long it will last though now on more public sites.........

I love me the deep discount CDP's, but if it's a Hertz employee (or employee related) code, I really don't think it's worth the risk of some underpaid peon doing some unprompted investigative journalism which ends up getting the MP'er or FT'er on a Do Not Rent list. Let's not cheat.
