Got an email for a survey and 250 points! 12 questions about the PC rewards program, all multiple choice ratings on different categories from 1-10 Doesn't seem to be targeted. The wife and I both registered and took the survey.
Noticed that myself. Also only noticed towards the end that 10 = best, 1 = worst...I was filling them out backwards...whoops. So much for my opinion.
You mean where my opinion doesn't really count?! Yeah, I suppose so... I thought they were asking me to rank the choices in order of priority. Still quite early here on the left coast...not fully caffeinated yet.
i actually thought the same thing, at first, but i've neem up for almost 4 hours now so i'm about more aware than you at the moment
I don't even get the chance for it to time out - it doesn't load to begin with. Yet another mileage giveaway that can't handle the traffic?
If only they sent a survey asking about their IT capabilities .... (I'm currently waiting for page 4 to load - it's been trying for about 10 minutes now)
After about an hour of retries, I'm now up to question 12, where they ask how I feel about being able to access info on their site in 9 different languages. Now there is a random question!
I think question 7 or 8 asked about the layout of the website information. I was really looking forward to the last question allowing for some kind of comments or suggestions. But nothing!
I finally gave up. Since PC is not capable of effectively gauging member opinions through surveys, perhaps a company lurker on MP can get my opinion here: "Thanks for wasting my time. Keep the 250. Thumbs down."
You're not alone-mine is so slow that I think my hair might actually grow back before I finish the survey
Not sure if anyone here has ever heard of NetCraft, but it's a site that gives you info about hosts - like where the site is hosted, what software it's running, etc. Guess what? NetCraft can't even get a good connection at this low level to figure out its information.
Well, thankfully I am at work, getting paid real money to waste this time How did we get anything done on the interwebs before tabbed browsers?!
I am on Q5. And I have to head to the office now, which probably means my session will time out and I'll either be screwed completely (it will think I already did the survey) or have to start all over.
