It is most definitely time for moar. Local stuff, I guess.
Really? I would think that since y'all burn 500 milers (other than EXPs), it would not do the extra upsell.
I hope there's a Stammtisch in ZRH when I'm there (even though I can't drink beer).
HG, hold back the tears!
A guy just called because there is a "sick" skunk in his yard. I told him let mother nature take care of it. He did not like that answer and wanted me to come shoot it. By the time I got there, the skunk moved to a wood pile. I said OK sounds good have a good night. He said well, are you going to scare him out and shoot him?
He could not understand why I would not scare him out, shoot him and take him away. I told him if he sees it tomorrow to call day shift. I will let them deal with it.
If someone can bring back People Express, maybe CO will come back in 25 years or so .
May I ask, why by the river?
I'm making my 1st trip to BKK soon & keep making different hotel ressies. At some point, I'll need to choose!
Right now, I have the option of staying for free (using cat4 certs) at the Ren or paying $125ish/nt at the JW Marriott or doing cash & points at one of the many SPGs.
Gate agent at SFO, "we are still consumating our marriage."
Me, "yeah, definitely getting f#cked."
The formal definition is complex. So we prefer to think of ourselves as a drinking club with posting and flying problems.
Moar here, too -- some pinot noir!
Sounds like a glorious institution.
I'm hanging out with the married Argentine dude at Number 9's Happy Hour in DC. Nothing bad can come from this, right?
Do yourself a favor and use the $ to buy a plane ticket to Another part of Thailand then use the free nights there. You couldn't pay me to go back to BKK.
"Lent is for teh Lawd."
Have been seeing a few examples of it discussed on TOBB. It would not surprise me at all of it became a common practice.
Ok, it's "après" ski. I blame the iPad, not my profession.
COngrats Uncle W.A. and Aunt Mrs. W.A.!!
Nice to hear she got accepted at a lot of places.
Not opposed to the kiddos wearing them. .
Proximity to family and other higher-use sites. And it's a nice transportation artery in a city which is EXTREMELY NOTORIOUS for traffic. Seriously, be prepared for it to take over an hour to get across town - minimum. Take the BTS (light rail) whenever you can.
The JW is a very nice hotel and, like the Sheraton/Westin Grande Sukhumvit, more in the "downtown"/business district as opposed to some of the older/more tourist/historic parts of town. I don't know anything about the Renaissance, but I would definitely say that in this city, location is key - figure out where you're going to be going/spending time and if you can pick a place that is more convenient rather than less, it'll make a difference.
To each his own, but... ouch.
Wow, that would suck, having to buy upgrades more or less (if PLT or GLD) and TODs. Yeah that's a big bag -o-
I agree, but it is teh kiddos that I worry will run into me, -- thus, I always wear a helmet!
I agree. Awesome country but not a city we enjoyed at all.
Indeed. Lenten deprivation is also optional for Episcopalians.
