I don't think raw poo works. It has to age for a bit. My mother bred and raised horses, and would dump their horse apples on some undeveloped flood control district land adjacent to their land. After about 3-4 years of breaking down, it was about the best fertilizer/potting soil you could ever hope for. There's still a lifetime supply back there.

I feel like Goldilocks since my last mattress got to soft and expensive replacement was too firm but thanks to a 75% off deal the memory foam topper seems to have found just right! :D

During the dot bomb crisis, I took paralegal classes. I don't mind repetitive work (that's my day job), but that particular kind of repetitive work got to me. I loved legal research, though, and I still love reading good pleadings and rulings.

    Good evening all.
Been another tough week at work with waaay too much business. Currently scheduled for LAX tomorrow at 5PM so if anyone is headed CLE-LAX and needs access to the UC, let me know.
Off to Israel end of next week and am looking foward to that.
Hope all the MRers have good flights.
Going to hear a great baroque orchestra tonight (Apollo's Fire) and then to bed early since I get to do early AM conference followed by surgery and then clinic. Just one of the reasons I find it hard to keep up with all of you.

MFA in creative writing, following her dream and her passion. She got jealous of me doing that the past four years. :p

In other news, work be damned...I'm going on the PHX run even though I'll come off the PHX-CLE-LGA flights and have to go straight to an office. Hopefully I don't kill anyone, or they never find the bodies. I've already started making goodie bags for everyone I'll interact with from the company along the way. :D

My flight tomorrow night (the one I'm no longer able to take) is now completely full. The two (at least) flights before it are also zeroed out. Hmmm...tempting.

Out of the 12 flights to MSY tomorrow, only one has any seats available and it's the one after mine.

I dropped out of an MFA program, but I do have an MA in creative writing (popular fiction).

Do they let you count the goodie bags as a zero item in addition to your carry-on? :)

I wanted to do something, but don't want to overdo the carry-ons.

So nice to hear she is following what she has passion for! I sure would like to have control of the rudder to steer the course of my life to what I truly enjoy doing. It is not far off what I wanted to do (and was accepted for) out of HS!

How did you get it on 'hold'?
I have one on hold b/c the system somehow didn't want to finish processing!

Howdy BoxPoint from #20 (and dropping) on the upgrd list. SFO-IAH on a Thursday evening, low $$ fare. Wasn't expecting much, but I'll be interested in seeing how much lower I'll wind up.

Guess three hours in a non-reclining exit isn't a fate worse than death. Maybe we'll have a tail wind and it will shorten up a bit.

In other news, the kiosk asked me if I wanted to volunteer on IAH-VER tomorrow morning. Wonder if my dad and brother will accept that "thou shalt take the bump" is a commandment?

All this CLT talk makes meet want to fly to CLT to get a couple of lines. I can either go thru CLE (CO express) or
thru DCA on USAIR (and then return on B6 with the credit I have) . What could I do at the CLT airport for 4 hours? (Besides the USAIR clubs). If I book on CO could I do a SDC to go thru IAH . Going thru CLE or DCA seems to short of a journey.:) . I could get 2 new lines from this CLE/DCA-CLT and CLT-JFK.

    Greetings Box...

I come around here about as much as I fly UA, so rather infrequently. I'm also booked on the 5/12 clt-ewr-hnl...debating whether to keep it or not.

Not really a UA collector, but it sounds like it could be a fun flight. If only UA S credited 100% on A3...

Speaking of apris ski, wot up with the 9% beer? This is Utah. :).

I like the %beer but have a couple of kids that ski/snowboard and have fallen on more than their buns so still recommend the not-so-cool head gear ---- pretty please:)
