The formal definition is complex. So we prefer to think of ourselves as a drinking club with posting and flying problems.

I'm hanging out with the married Argentine dude at Number 9's Happy Hour in DC. Nothing bad can come from this, right?

Do yourself a favor and use the $ to buy a plane ticket to Another part of Thailand then use the free nights there. You couldn't pay me to go back to BKK.

Have been seeing a few examples of it discussed on TOBB. It would not surprise me at all of it became a common practice.

Proximity to family and other higher-use sites. And it's a nice transportation artery in a city which is EXTREMELY NOTORIOUS for traffic. Seriously, be prepared for it to take over an hour to get across town - minimum. Take the BTS (light rail) whenever you can.

The JW is a very nice hotel and, like the Sheraton/Westin Grande Sukhumvit, more in the "downtown"/business district as opposed to some of the older/more tourist/historic parts of town. I don't know anything about the Renaissance, but I would definitely say that in this city, location is key - figure out where you're going to be going/spending time and if you can pick a place that is more convenient rather than less, it'll make a difference.

Wow, that would suck, having to buy upgrades more or less (if PLT or GLD) and TODs. Yeah that's a big bag -o-

I was told that my FT/ MP handle was mentioned in a meeting at corporate headquarters, as in the speaker did not want to read his comments on any social media site. :D I think I only made that boo-boo twice and it was only to confirm something that everyone already knew about.

Evening Box. Worked about 11 hours today between early morning conference call, significant client fire drill and private banker team offsite. We played several drinking games during the "team building" exercise, including beer pong and flip cup.

    Work. Work. Work.

Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only person who has engaged in multiple games of beer pong and flip cup with co-workers, on official property no less. But we only do it during alumni weekend, or other times when the kids aren't around. :D

I was advised nicely to remove my posts and haven't made that mistake ever again. I just find it funny that I am known at Willis (hdqts).
