When I decided to posts on these types of sites, I always made sure that whatever I posted would be something I didn't mind posting if I was using my real name. Plus I "outed" myself at several CO DOs years ago. I have no plans on changing my handle.

IDGFlygirl and I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Erawan, and used the light rail to get around. it's really easy to use. Loved the location of the GHE, and also the Weston Grande Sukhumvit.

Somewhat early flug AUS-DEN-LAX tomorrow with the CR7 flug AUS-LAX in whY, but that is to be expected. Once I land at LAX I have a car waiting, but methinks I will hafta wait in it while I have my performance review with teh boss for 2 hours...hopefully it will be less but he thinks I am at hoam when I am really about 12 miles South of his location...a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

Hoping that the dealio will be over at a decent time (3pm or so), so that I can drive to the Queen Mary in the L.B.C. and tour it for a few before my p.s. flight to JFK at 1030 or so that evening. I will be in teh air for the CO ---> UA changeover so the plane might stop working somewhere over Colorado...... c'est la vie.

I have that issue at work, as I'm one of the more personally connected (online) consultants in the company. It's bad enough that one of our VPs always calls me "Tweet Sullivan" and has joked in meetings we've been in about it. I have quite a few clients that follow me on Twitter, and have found me on Facebook, so I have to filter quite a bit, but a few times I've crossed the line just a little more than I should.

I'm always in a rather interesting position, knowing a lot about our ongoing software development, with things that I can't publicly release to clients. And, in more social settings like Teh Box, I have to filter all the really juicy stuff that inevitably comes up when working in the HR and payroll world. I've had some real gems at my clients - including a faculty member that murdered his wife, who was also a faculty member, after she walked in his office one day and caught him on his desk with his department chair. And then there was the employee who had 17 child support garnishments from five different states. Yeah, I get some good stuff, most of which I'm sworn to secrecy on.

Hmmmm...

Awesome awesome flight. Long but great crew feeding this booze hound non stop gratis. I had to consume at least 9 or 10 nips and spent 5 hours bs-ing in the galley with a couple crew members I've flown with numerous times. Always fun.

Gbryans Friend gave me an awesome who the f are you look when I said good luck at your interview. It was great.

That's the silver lining in me flying DL on Sunday in a middle seat. At least I get to miss the potential at UA.

They are all I'm bringing in my carry-on. I'm going to be out of NYC for a total of 16 hours. I think that I can survive that without real baggage. I did note that the price of the bags of candy minis is quite ridiculous. Looks like my bill for such tomorrow won't be as trivial as I thought. Still, I figure to be coming through security in PHX with ~15 pounds of sweets.

Sit in the rocking chairs and relax a while, watching the planes go to and fro. Otherwise, not too much. Doesn't make it a bad destination, really, but nothing all that exciting either.
