Ha! I'm a nut on this airline. Terminal 2 is nice now that VX has had their way with it, but I like the more familiar Terminal 3.

Doesn't your UA boarding group supercede all other boarding groups at all other airlines? I'm so confused....

    I should pull a "BUT I'M A 1K" tomorrow.
And my UA flug is sold-out in F tomorrow so, for the 5th time this year, I will be in the back on an instrument supported upgrade. At least I have the seat without the seat in front of it. Although 5 hours is a long flight on a 73G no matter what seat you're in.

Super Shuttle was NEVER the correct choice at JFK anyways.

Does united.com still show a PNR as "pending" for a CPU or is that now done only for instrument supported UG waitlisting?

My RPU waitlisted PNR has the sUA style of showing seat maps for the whY booking but also shows the seat map for the requested, yet still waitlisted, Biz cabin.

However, the PNR I just checked shows only coach seat maps for my whY booking where I'm rolling the dice on the CPU?

In the past, those dupe (albeit somewhat confusing) entries at least allowed me to catch those PNRs that for whatever reason fell through the UDU/CPU cracks and get it fixed before OLCI.

As an officer of the court, would you accept a filing that didn't have a space after each  ?

I don't think so. It's almost impossible to sue for specific performance generally, courts are not geared to provide that kind of remedy.

    Probably not.:p :p :p

*GASP* -- just coming up for air -- so many pages of teh Box to catch up on .

    Did I miss anything good?

What would you suggest? We'll fall back to a cab, but it's a long way to the garment district at 5pm....

They still have a few days left in the 10 day run at the Beac:cool:n Theater. They play a long run of shows in NYC every March, almost always there.

Yes, a small claims court probably would not have jurisdiction over this in any event. ALCO is the litigator here, so he might wish to weigh in, but I think it is the wrong venue. I also agree that a small claims court would not be the right place to get United to move via an equitable action.

At least two (we know who they are) posters have been saying for months that they deliberately flew UA in 2011 over cheaper alternatives to finish their MM's before year end, in order to get the package of PMUA MM benefits that were presented to them as being lifetime.

That's one of the reasons I've said all along: give that group the option of maintaining their old benefit package until their SO's put on the pressure to get their own Gold cards. We knew this was coming. Those guys also brought up small claims quite a while ago.

Exactly my p;)int! I can't see many courts taking the time, trouble, or effort to actually look into this issue enough to be able to rule on it and order any sort of specific performance. Even thinking ab:rolleyes:ut it this seems absurd.

For those who are wondering what we are talking about, specific performance is essentially the court ordering, "Hey, you -- do this!"

There were a L:(T of scalpers out last night. Please don't patronize them. Stubhub, eBay, etc. is not quite as bad and for single tix last minute those are often a good way to find last minute tix cheap. Midweek is going to be easier than the weekends. We had pretty good orchestra tix, but the Beac:cool:n is a pretty good venue to see a show, even in the second balcony.

Glad you both arrived safely in NYC.

Be thankful mom can't access SuperShuttle!!!

IMO, while Super Shuttle, in limited circumstances, may be an option to get TO JFK/LGA/EWR, Super Shuttle should NEVER be used to get FROM those airports

From JFK, it's probably easiest to take a cab into the city, The price is a flat $45 + tip + toll (unless you take a no toll route via the 59th St or Williamsburg Bridges) for the two of you. iirc, that's pretty much what Super Shuttle charges anyway!

morning Box. one and half more office days until its off to BOS for a long weekend. Looks like I might actually have a shot at an upgrade as a newly minted silver. Guess that clearly makes this merger a failure.
