Saw pictures of the new amenity kits. Basically Global First got an updated looking version of the old BF kit and BF gets a slightly better version of the UA C net bag.

These kids salon parties are all the rage these days it seems. A friend owns 3 and is trying to build a franchise

Trying to do an authorized unlock on my iPhone so I can use it internationally, before upgrading to a non-sucky iPhone.

The Airtrain EWR is even worse than that. The company that made it is out of business and there are no spare parts available. Everything is custom. It's too bad they didn't buy something that is more an industry standard. And it is creepily slow - the only saving grace is that the distances are short.

The Airtrain will need to be rebuilt, and they should either extend it to Newark Penn Station, or else extend PATH to the EWR station.

Hmmm that sounds like a downgrade for sCO BF and little change for everyone else

I'd have to say that the amenity kit is for me the least important factor in a great international flight - hard product, food, lounge, FA & CSR friendliness are all more important, as are factors harder to control like security and border lines.

The Hilton is interestingly funky. It's the only one I've stayed in recently, though. Free wifi in the bar if you don't otherwise have status.

Agree completely. I do think the amenity kits are a gesture and demonstration of the service you're trying to provide. I usually use the eye-mask, ear plugs, and if it's a nice lotion, I'll use it as well.

    SOL ..LOL..

I wonder if I can use the Hilton facilities...no Hilton Status.
No StAAtus on that AAirline too..so AAdmirals club may be no-go...(unless I find some MP-er to guest me in, etc).

Sitting on E145 from beautiful IAH to CLT. Forgot what a zoo B84 gates can be and discipline of group boarding was nonexistent. Do they know who I am :p

I am still surprised that pmUA got away with all these lounges without showers at their hubs.

I, for one, didn't understood how nice you pmCO flyers had it at your hubs. We pmUA flyers got trained that arrival showers were mainly available in Europe, only on paid C, and often with fairly inconvenient time-consuming hotel shuttle rides.
