I just couldn't think of when I would be able the take advantage of the benefits at all. I wouldn't have to time or the $$$ to requalify and I really should focus on spending the family fortune on requalifying for 1K.... I can't see making a move to AA permanently (no particular reason why but I am no BA fan for sure ... but then again I am not an LH lover either) and now with the last downgrade of the offer, it's not even a thought.

Nothing lately. Crime has been slow, or were doing a good job.

AA is matching FFers whom it status matched in the past. Money talks on these sorts of things, so I fear not should I move to an AA city in the future.

I'm a bottom feeding mileage runner. . As long as AA makes it reasonable for me to requal, I'm doing it. I can't imagine doing this on two programs that I wouldn't be able to utilize. I think the current EXP match is a great deal for those who travel domestically and can commit to a relationship with them. But for everyone else, pick the program that suits.

Sorry. No one can guarantee you'll get a match in the future. These are extreme times. You might get lucky. Or not. Of course we all may have to deal with US so there is that.

I rest assured I'll get a match in the future if it makes good business sense for the airline to do so, policies are meant to be broken when doing so brings in revenue and doesn't kill anyone.

Hiked to the top of Diamond Head this moarning, then paddle surf'd at the most crowded and well-known beach on the planet (Waikiki), and walked across half of Honolulu trying to find decent tacos because the only Mexican joint nearby is called La Cucaracha...... and hell will freeze over before I eat at any restaurant called The Cockroach.

Overall, a better Cinco de Mayo than I think I haz ever had. Only just before 1800 here right now and I haz a Kona Longboard Island Lager in-hand, awaiting another spectacular sunset before I go out in search of moar.

I don't live in that fantasy land. .
