I've done that IAH-AUS-IAH a few times. "I came to get some Salt Lick BBQ and Amy's Ice Cream"

I plan on doing this a lot in the future, too. A lot of times the airfare from AUS is more than $100 cheaper and you route right back through IAH. IAH-AUS-IAH are about $100 booked 10 days in advance and a lot of time you can force the routing on a single PNR through ua.com.

Someone has indeed hypothesized the ability to see Russia from Wasilla. And one effectively drives past Wasilla to get to Hatcher Pass.

Anyone seeing slow posting this week? My return ICN-SFO-BOS on Tuesday 8th not posted yet and the outbounds posted quickly within less than 72 hrs. My colleague flying ICN-SFO-EWR also not posted either.

I'll probably wait until afternoon on Monday to call in if they are not poste by then.

My Wednesday flights home haven't posted yet. I'm likely to wait a week or two before I worry about it though. Don't need the RDMs for anything in particular, so no reason to clog up the phone lines.

Just renewed my InterContinental Ambassador membership with points - after the 5,000 point bonus and 10% rebate for having the PC Visa, 13,000 points (the equivalent of $78) is not so bad at all.

I did 3 wine tasting places today and recognized one of the guys from the first place and he is a sommelier (his wife does not drink so she shopped instead) so I got to learn about some wine blends I was not familiar with. I also met a couple of fun people along the way including a fellow from my former employer that recently suffered the same fate as me who was enjoying severance by taking a last minute cruise deal to Alaska.
