Good afternoon BoxPoint. Happy mother's day, you mothers.
Morning Box. Please forgive me for I have skipped 16 pages of Teh Box. Happy Mother's Day.
Morning Box. Happy mother's day to all who celebrate (or are celebrated).
132,90 all in
WTF was up with that? Don't go into the lav right before door closure and take a dump.
Too bad so sad.
Liking this post 12 hours after you posted it. That was so yesterday!
I've always heard it as the second pronunciation.
With headwinds, it often is a 5.5-hour flight.
I'm in PHX now. I'm not even halfway done. The last 48 hours consisted of PHL-IAH-EWR-CLT-EWR-HNL-SFO-PHX.
The return begins shortly: PHX-HNL-EWR-CLT-IAD-SFO-PHL. 11,794 miles completed; 13,848 to go.
Base fare was IIRC $109; came out to about $133 after taxes.
I booked 4 legs all for the same fare each:
CLT-EWR-HNL-PHX (turned into HNL-SFO-PHX)
Total OOP was about $530.
'Twere indeed moar fun and games. Glad to have you along.
Thx. Forgot what it was.
Holy multi quote!!!
Greetings from a Skywest CR2.
PHX UC was pleasant enough.
Your slice of heaven.
Whoa!! P.O.T.D status for the multi-post magnet
Last flight of this HNL MR onboard this CR2 with CGK to LAX. Shower sounds wonderful.
It was Mrs. Mackie's birthday party yesterday, so my buddy and I made it Swine Saturday™. Pictures ahoy.
We started with, as any good time does, balls (cube of cheese surrounded by Italian sausage wrapped in bacon, seasoned well):
Upon request, he also whipped up a fatty (smoked turkey, prosciutto, smoked gouda, muenster, onions, red bell pepper, spinach, and seasonings stuff inside a wrap of breakfast sausage and then wrapped in a bacon lattice, seasoned well):
I got the fire started in my offset:
He prepared his Masterbuilt:
Next post for more pictures.
I put on some ribs:
And a couple pork tenderloins a bit later:
It was .
Not that I'm complaining, but CGK does seem out of the way between LAX and HNL.
Can't believe I would ever do it but just booked my first FC airfare paid via cash.
Where do i find out if my fare is refundable? might be good to know
nm, the etkt says if it is refundable or whatnot woo
I am saddened to report...that there are no milanos in the DFW UC. This makes the fact that there is still ground service equipment and jetways outside the window labeled Continental pale in comparison. Next flight looks a) zeroed out, and b) like it has GoGo, so I should be fine either way.
Ticket confirmation or ITA fare rules.
I get these from time-to-time on BNA-MSP; a few more miles and that route would have to be equipped with an aircraft that has an F cabin (SkyTeam USA implemented a 700 mile rule).
I spent two summers at conductor camp (seriously!) in Washington, ME, about an hour and a half north of PWM. Didn't fly in either time, though (it was useful to have a car). I wanted to make it to L.L. Bean but didn't get the chance. One of these days. It's a lovely place to be (in the summertime) if you can avoid the mosquitoes, which can grow frighteningly large.
The same is true for Alaska - right now, all the mosquitoes are happily suppressed by snow.
The mosquitoes never really bothered me. The black flies, on the other hand...
Anyone here do CMA fest in recent years? Wondering what kind of bump opportunities I may get, and might want to switch my flights around based on it.
As a teen, I avoided taking biology because it involved dissection.
When I was in college in Vermont, I'd been there a year before taking bio, and it involved dissection of black flies. By that time, I was entirely ready to eviscerate their tiny bodies.
