Definitely isn't a glitch that happens in every flight. Otherwise I wouldn't have gone three-for-three on upgrades last week on a T fare. Either that or they really sold a heck of a lot of low fares.

SF MUNI does that on the streetcars, too.

By higher ticket price do you mean a Y or B fare? Because that's always been the case. However, this only applies to the instant upgrade fare classes - Y and B for most elites, and also M for 1Ks. If a silver is on a W fare and a 1K on an L fare, the 1K is still ahead of the Silver. Unless something's really broken.

GF just informed me that she and a friend are doing a spa afternoon in a couple of weeks. Hmmm -- I could do another LAX-ORD turn.

True, but the implication here is that DHS would get some of their best tips based upon who cannot afford to pay (or does not want to pay) the $2.75 max fare ...

6,980 EQM's for a trip to ORD and the ability to be home for dinner isn't too shabby.

That is why B6 is not doing the route.

One time we had a house guest at an open party. We'd not announced that the dinner was beef, nor did we know he was Hindu. Sadly, we didn't figure it out until too late, but always made sure to cook something else when we knew he was coming.

Before I head out to dinner, today's reason to love Hyatt:

At the Grand Hyatt Seattle, the check-in representative mentions my past history at the hotel and says "we know a lot of people dropped down from diamond status with this downturn - I upgraded you to a corner suite". No access to the Regency Club but I had no reason to expect access.

That's why I stayed there on free resort nights...

6/30 -- anticipating out on the 6 am and back on the 3:10.

Fare isn't great for 6/30 (it has actually gone up since I held ressie).

Mid-week flights? I thought you were doing weekend turns...
