Those complaints also apply to the current version of Upper Class. Believe it or not, this seat is definitely roomier than the old one, and the IFE monitor is also larger.

The overhead space issue exists on the current aircraft as well. I kind of like the missing center overhead bins – it does make the cabin feel nice and open. However, they really should have gone with the larger option for the side bins, so that more bags would fit. My experience with UC has been that passengers in the center seats with roller bags are often forced to stack them in the coat closets (which are quite large in VS UC).

Trying to find some reasonable fares out of CLT to anywhere right now on AA to exercise my EP status is proving a tad challenging.

Looks like it could be SFO and a UA 763 based on the wingtip?

For a morning flight on the 'bus, pass. Won't drink, won't eat the breakfast, not even free direct tv to recommend it. I'll just stick with my exit unless I get really lucky.

AA wont even refund a refundable ticket I never checked-in on. Why should you get good fares.

Ugh, I got a 28 page book in 2008... and wish I had gotten the 52 page book. I couldn't even have them sew more pages in last year because I hadn't used enough of my pages At this pace, I'm going to be full-up in about 3 years, with 5 years on the clock.

The good news is that it looks like I get to fly the DCA-SFO flight in early June.

The bad news is that I have to connect onward to BFL

LH, AC, and UA are matching. DL has matches in some cities, but doesn't appear to be widespread yet (according to ITA).

If oanly BA sale applied to Teh Pit. I'm going to end up paying out teh for an IAH-VIE W fare (don't haz flexibility on those dates to skip work and originate from a different city).
