CPU cleared for Tuesday night's flight LAX-IAD. Was going to SDC to Wed. AM rather than get home at 1 AM.

Now I have to decide between assured transcon F and rolling the bones on an upgrade on the new flight.

First world problems, I know, but still a complication.

763 is key. . But row 17 doesnt suck if you can get it. Those seats are remarkably comfy.

Wait about 5 years for all the stuff in Doha to be completed. The new airport is scheduled to open this month, and features the longest runway?!?! in the middle east. Its so the A380s can take off fully loaded, in the hot desert.

Wasn't too bad at sunset, but managed to lose Weatherboy on the epic trek to the taxi stand. That, plus waiting in the 150-person queue for a cab, was the miserable part. I was in so much pain it wasn't funny.

I thought the new airport was scheduled to open on 12/12/12. Has that been changed?
