Glad you confirmed it's still possible to get, even if a bit of a pain. Is it faster to get in Canada or do they simply not issue them at US consulates? Hopefully the consulate can store it for you while you aren't using it in case you need it again.

Box option: AA JFK-SDQ in J for $337 a/i
The issue is that they only seem to allow you to have one in your possession at a time

I wish I was sitting on a big pile of RDMs. Sadly, I used my stockpile over the past 12 months to go backwards and forwards to the UK for funerals. Would much rather have used them for flights to exotic locales!
