Box know that this a YMMV but is IFC on a UA744 that much better than BC?

Doing it to be a bum is a bad idea. Doing it because you'd be one of a dozen is a bad idea.

Doing it because you want to help people learn to dive better and to be willing to take on the responsibility of making sure that they understand how to do so safely and responsibly is a good reason to pursue that path.

You do realize that with your travel luck, as long as there's at least one old configuration PS plane in the fleet, it will be operating the PS flight you are booked on, don't you?

Doing it because it makes your heart sing too is a good idea.

My specific job has driven many people crazy over the years. I like it because it's modular and technical and sometimes I'm in a position to help a lot more than average. I also know I'm helping a lot of people by doing it, and that's what floats my boat.

    Funniest LinkedIn update ever:

"[Person X] has now connected with [Black Cloud] and Karl Rove."
I feel so... uhm... what's the word... oh, right, dirty.

No, with my luck I'll get the standard sUA domestic 752 configured plane that randomly rotates in.

And you'll bang your head on the 1980s CRT monitor hanging above the aisle, just like I tend to do when I fly one of those planes.

For some reason, I tend to have more problems hitting my head while boarding. Aircraft aluminum is not forgiving

If one should only pursue a career because you believe in the outcomes you create, what the hell does that say about me?

I broke my sunglasses (which were on my head) on one of those monitors a few weeks ago on a WoS 752.

Yes, that has been my experience, as well.

It should not have mattered whether they were out of the stacks of paper certificates at the service center because those certificates are only for distressed passenger rates at airport hotels, and UA should have paid for Gtitan's hotel rooms as a 1K forced to overnight due to a mechanical delay.

Just another example of UA's unwillingness to take responsibility for its post-merger service eff ups, but that's what happens when airlines are permitted to operate in an uncompetitive environment.

It depends. Sometimes calling results in being the lucky one out of a pool of thousands. ;)

Just curious. What if you got in touch with SQ? Even if you don’t have their PNR, but you give them your name, flights and dates of travel. Wouldn’t they be able to pull up their PNR? Or do you think the same thing would happen from their personnel?

This pilot must have a different definition of "3". Came on and said we're #3 for departure. Have now watched eight aircraft taxi by us and take off. Maybe he meant we're #3^2
