Morning, Box. Very entertaining commute this morning. Passenger and conductor on the train got into a rather vocifereous and heated exchange. Tempers flared. Voices raised to fever pitch yelling.

I went for the mp premium package. I was going to spend the money to get 2K miles via United so this way I get
national executive status (and eventually hertz will match it ) for the same money.

Actually, about the same parking. We own three cars. We've been parking one on the street since we moved. When we move to the new home, it will be the same situation. I did want a home with a 3 car garage... and there are plenty available where we're moving, but this home fits us well. At least I can park my car on a driveway, instead of the street.

Morning, Box. IAH is nice and quiet this morning. I had PreCheck, but even the regular elite line was running only about five minutes, start to finish. My flight is empty enough they got down to the Silvers with upgrades.

I love post-Labor Day travel.

Indeed; both my AUS-IAH and IAH-LAS flights for tomorrow morning had all silvers upgraded at the window with F seats still out there and no one on the standby lists. Hoping I can snag one of them at the gate for Mrs. Mackie.

I have a friend that built a family room addition to the back of his house. As soon as the inspector signed off on the work, he cut a section out of the wall and added a garage door from his "street garage" into the "family room". He could park six and a half* cars and still have room to work on 'em. Kinda strange to be working on a race car with a fireplace right next to you though.....

*-Goof around with British cars long enough & you start using fractions whenever someones asks how many you own.

I've been on an organizing bender this week. My kitchen pantry, my linen closet and my office all got much needed attention. Just got some enclosed storage shelves from Sears and they are going in the garage to get rid of the mess out there.
