Howdy Box. Looking forward to my last set of flights starting this evening under the old system. When our journey completes tomorrow, it will be my last voyage under the old UA 11 digit FFN. So will come the end of an era and the beginning of a new one.:)

I'd love KVS if it didn't mean installing Windows. It's not worth the cost and space of the install just for one app.

I do too but it is sorely lacking OW airlines for reward travel - BA/CX/JL, etc.

A former coworker from AMS took a side trip to Namibia and came back with amazing photos. I've wanted to go ever since.

I'm still  about the idea of ending up somewhere "permanently." There are too many places I want to try, both around the country and abroad, to be OK with the idea of knowing that "this is it."

Maybe it's just one more sign that I'm not yet ready to grow up...

Of course, I detest packing and the actual process of moving, so maybe I'll settle somewhere by default. :)

We have been taking the MRT all over although we did walk to the botanical gardens. :)

I just do my best to evacuate Teh Pit at least every weekend.

I suppose with only 16K CO miles left (for now) that I'm still at the mileage poverty level? :)

Well, I hate moving too. And we've done it more in the last few years than I'd like, but the last move was very much worth it, and a big step up in where we live.

Permanently for us probably means "too old to move again." Maybe I should have said "Place we'd like to stay for more than just two years."

Oh no. I do not know who he is, but he should have the sense to not wear something that tight.

Here's that lion, which you posted before. And as before, it sure looks to me like that must be blood from carcass feeding going down from his ear. Tough guy; great photo.

It really is something, isn't it?

Yeah, he appeared to be quite well fed that morning – so much so that he couldn't have cared less about the 200+ zebra that were less than 500 feet away. When you look at the full size version, it's apparent he's got some scars, and he's showing signs of blood left from breakfast in several places. He was ready to settle in for a nice nap, along with his friends that are in the other lion picture I posted.

When you see these guys in the wild, it's quite apparent they're just souped-up versions of house cats.

And because you brought him up, I'll repeat that this gentleman came to our firm for a consulting engagement. We discovered his true identity about a year later. We actually joked he was a super hero because he appeared to have blue tights on underneath his clothes....little did we know.

It frightens me. Reminds me of the pregnant woman who weighed about 300 before she got pregnant who wore a bikini out by the pool on a daily basis during the summer of 2000 at my first apartment in Houston. She was worse, but this is starting to get there.
