Well, Box, some pretty amazing and amusing doings in my neighb today. Big Nick’s Burger Joint, a true joint if there ever was one, was celebrating its 50th anniversary at the same location by offering up pricing from back then. 70 cents for a cheeseburger (60 for the hamburger), and we’re talking about a substantial patty; normally would go for about $6.25. Similar deals on other items. The 1st time I walked by there was around 11AM, and the line was like the 1st day a new Apple product comes out: down the 1/3 of Broadway it takes to get to the corner, then down 77th Street almost 2/3 of the way to West End Avenue. This is not a spacious place by any stretch, and the deal was only good for eating in the restaurant. Every time I passed by, almost the exact same thing. Made up of young to old.

Now, it would have to take, from the end of the line till you got into the place, at least an hour; probably more. All to save about $5.50!

I love their burgers. They grill them, not fry them like Shake Shack, which I’m not so much a burger-fan of. But I can’t imagine standing in line for that long to save such a sum.

Coastal routes are going to always get more big cities just due to the nature of how cities evolve. I'd be more interested in the ones that aren't primarily coastal.

Morning, Box. Well, that construction site across the street from me, where they’re in the process of tearing down the 2 and 3 story stores that used to exist along Broadway from 77th to 78th Streets, is, once again, off to an early start shortly after 7AM. The large jackhammer used to dig foundations is at it again, and I wonder/dread if they’re going to be at it again this Saturday morning, as last Saturday. I’m a bit of a night owl person, so haven’t been getting my usual hours of sleep, but if this keeps up, I will have no choice in getting to bed earlier.

However, received a nice surprise when opening the emails waiting for me: CO has EUA’d me on 1 of the 4 flights I’m taking on the 28th:D: PDX-IAH red-eye. Fare class is showing lots of room on the IAH-LGA portion that follows (F/J/A9, but no EUA given yet), but can’t click on the Fare Class for the outbound flights LGA-DEN-PDX. At least one of them came thru at the earliest mark.

Good morning and howdy BoxPoint. Shortish night sleep for me. But I had a lot of work to catch up on and grinding it out last night was surely the right call.

Going to have to find some coffee this morning though before I get asked to think.

and my brother always asked the JW at the door, "if they wouldn't mind waiting til he finishes jerking off?"

Guess they must've had a busy schedule to keep 'cause I can't recall any of 'em sticking around?

They gave me 1F, and I switched it to 2F so that I could stretch out the legs. Still some open seats. If I remember right, I’m taking earlier and different flights out (via DEN), so will see you in PDX.

    ROTFLMAO!!!!

When I'm fortunate enough to own a home (probably in connection with getting married/merged off), and I get the visit from the JWs, I can only imagine the reaction when I tell them my husband and I aren't interested.

Normally, I do as well. But on red-eye’s, I like the window as an additional place to rest my head.

183 north. When you get to Lakeline, take the exit to stay on the non-toll portion of 183.

You can take the AUS tolls without a TxTag. It will mail you a bill.
