That's definitely an improvement - my tax refund came today, so I can now pounce on the next Costco special on the king-sized bed I want (been on a full for the last 15 years).

Anyone been to or know anything about Longyearbyen or Svalbard? I'm wondering if it's worth visiting in the Summer. I figure if I'm on an award ticket to Europe, I might as well go somewhere expensive/exotic.

No experience but one of my aspirant hotels is in Longyearbyen; that's my goal for Club Carlson points.

BTW, I saw all this batman about CR7s and I'm paying for a revenue SFO-YYC later this year in a CR7. That's right, 3hr 6 minutes. I'm hoping for an upgrade

What makes it aspirational? I have no Club Carlson points and the revenue stays look , so I'd have to book a guesthouse.

Early swim meet is no less early than the last one. It would be nice if they had the younger kids swim in the afternoon for a change.
