Big Developments on the Holiday Inn front, as they are also building a Massive complex across from Sukhumvit Soi 33.
Can't wait to see it! Big and a Holiday Inn development, sounds interesting to us! Thanks for letting us know here on MP!
In addition to its four properties in Bangkok (Ramada Encore Suk 10, Ramada Suites Suk 12, Ramada D MA, Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside), Ramada is embarking on a very strange project at the Asok intersection. Although a high-rise, this 37-story building is very slim and has a small footprint, maybe 6-7 rooms per each floor! Ramada Bangkok Sukhumvit is located at the junction between Sukhumvit Road and Soi 23, 30 meters from the Asok BTS sky train station. Amenities will include a full-service restaurant, two signature bars, an executive lounge, fitness center, business center and swimming pool. The property is expected to open in the first quarter of 2012. As of late June 2011.
WOW!!! Really??? They already building another 29-storey Holiday Inn at Sukhumvit 22!!! TRAVELSIG, is this the same one you are talking about?
Yes this is the one (Fenix). Large office tower next store also. Looks to be quite a large development.

I am still able to find good 5 stars here for less than $100, one of the few cities where that is still possible.
