    Well, I rarely flew on DL. I found this picture in my SD card. I forgot which airport. ;) Perhaps any DL flyer here would recognize the background scenery or the gate or the airport building. :)

    A friend who read my post as well as yours said to me that I wasn't clear with my picture post. And indeed this is a general community lounge not a Delta lounge. That's what I meant by inappropriate. :D

    Still waiting for HP in the UK to pull their finger out. The 10am goal has come and gone. Callers to their customer service have been told "later today". Meanwhile, you can pick up a 32Gb Touchpad in the UK for USD$500 - which unsurprisingly almost no-one is doing.

    Meanwhile in Australia, the Touchpads have been going from exclusive retailer Harvey Norman* for AUD$99/$149.

    That nothing happens quickly in the UK fails to surprise me.:rolleyes:

    And I hope you get over your cold quickly, psollitt. The sun is almost shining.

    * By "exclusive", I mean they have sole rights to sell the devices in Australia. Harvey Norman are actually on my blacklist of evil organisations - their CEO calls people who buy things on the internet "criminals" and "unaustralian". Charming.

    We (mostly me) have only barely used it so far, but I like it. I had it charging up overnight so that it could install the latest system updates. (Must be 50% charged before it will install system updates.) It's installing that now.

    She's pleased that it has an Amazon Kindle app.

    It comes with minimal printed documentation, but the online help seems extensive and well-written. I've downloaded only a few free apps, so far. Milepoint looks good on it and seems to behave well.

    Barnes and Noble now has the 16GB available for $101.95 + $5.49 shipping + tax. (Not eligible for free shipping.)
    eBates.com gives 6% cash back on B&N right now.
    32GB is still full price, so far.

    Still nothing here. The touchpads are now available in Ireland and Germany for EURO 99/ EURO 129, but still no discounts in the UK. The HP UK organising committee seem to be confounded inside a wet paper bag.

    Hi guys

    Woke up to someone trying to get into my hotel room. Hilton Security called and demanded to know who I was and saying this wasn't my room. Been dealing with this mess and got the room comped but not happy. What a great way to start the day. Now, I'm late to the business conference I'm here to attend. :(

    Hope everyone's Monday started off better. At least I get to fly home later today :)
