I just booked some AA flights for their DEQM period. DEN-DFW-ATL-DFW-SEA-DFW-ATL-DFW-MCI will earn 14,722 EQMs.

So far for the month of January, I am looking at 33.3K EQM on scheduled flights, plus the megado charter (which its counting really depends on how they enter it). If the charter lucks out with DEQM, then I will have 53k EQM at the end of January

Well, you are used to that. My scheduling is even worse. I have YYZ-ORD-ATL, work for a week, then ATL-DFW-DEN-DFW-ATL-DFW-DEN-DFW-ATL, then another week of work, followed by ATL-DFW-SEA-DFW-ATL-DFW-SEA-DFW-ATL, work for a week and a half straight, and then the megado.

I can't say I really envy the both of you.. Compared to you guys, I have it easy...

Yes you do, but then this month of crazy flying gets me almost all the way back to Platinum (or over depending on how they count the charter), and then 11 months to fly another 50k EQM to get to EXP, and the SWUs that come with it

Yes - it was wonderful - all the way around. The nesting birds were one of our highlights.... another, for me, was crawling around on Anini Beach looking for little teensy Kahelelani shells. Good times... good food... and, for the most part, great weather. FS, the birds were just amazing! This isn't even my best shot of them.... although I like this one because he is looking full face towards me. They are such beautiful birds!

I see why US Airways has earned such a stellar reputation. I booked a flight for tomorrow to Phoenix. Couldn't check in online, shitty website it appears. Tried calling in. The first time all I could hear was static, the second time I got thru to an agent and she kept insisting that I was putting the wrong date in, and eventually the call was disconnected.

I had enough and cancelled my flight and booked on another carrier. Not worth the time dealing with those types of shenanigans.

What's even more fun is the fact that you can't change your seat assignment after completing OLCI...

Sorry to hear that. It may truly have been because you were inputting the 'wrong' date. It has happened to me when I have been out on the west coast. A 'tomorrow' flight may actually be a 'today' flight because of time zone differences and when they open your record for OLCI. And you can change a seat assignment after OLCI....just has to be at the airport.
At least with US I have never had my seat changed by them midway through my trip, as what happened with UA on this last itinerary. I was moved to a bulkhead window seat on a 2hr CRJ flight with no explanation from a row 3 aisle seat. I was not a happy camper, but there was nothing that could be done to change it back. I also could not check in online from Kauai - even after a garbled conversation with a UA rep. We called back twice with my friend finally calling the 1K line and then having to talk to web support. My entire itinerary had to be re-entered. It was definitely time-consuming....and just another bump in a trip that had lots of less than stellar moments on UA's part.
So, hiccups happen all the way around.

Yes they do. I was just really frustrated and tired. And needed a flight and was hoping not to have issues haha. I am still going to give them a chance on Friday

I was awake for about 24 hours when I went teaching... not a good idea

Oh, and the last 'pile' of miles I waited for was posted. Now I have 900K+ which I need to start burning before DL devaluates...
