I am heading back to Paris in late March. Though, ms. dlroads informed me that she wants to go in April (so I may cancel march and extend the stay on the other).

Happy almost Friday!! I'l be on the train to Munich tomorrow evening for the weekend...first visit and I'm definitely looking forward to it!!

I am a patient one.

I wish my company would go ahead and schedule a meeting in Paris. I used to go multiple times a year and our headquarters is still there but we were purchased late in 2011 and I think no one knows what to do now.

All the more reason your company should schedule a meeting in Paris so you all can go figure out what to do now.

Seems this Marriott has taken my High Floor preference to ridiculous levels of indifference.

Battlements aside, York is basically flat. I checked in on the ground floor. My room is two floors down on level -2.

This not a hillside; this is a basement.

Time to update my room preferences to Fallout Shelter.

How bizarre: are these the "York Dungeon" rooms & -priced accordingly? I would plead claustrophobia & plead for above ground room!

Good m/a/e all. I am almost back amongst the healthy. The hacking has subsided to manageable during the day & not too bad at night so keeping fingers crossed that my last 3 days of antibiotics kicks this damn bronchitis. I have MR's this month & don't want to cancel, or worse, be that horror of all flyers: the sick seatmate!

Hoping everyone else is doing well...will try to catch up on all the news over next few days.

It is a rack rate booked on Marriott.com 3 days ago. Not even a Lurk New Fathom rate!

I will be gone before breakfast anyway, taking my stay credit and 2000 Oz miles on to the next town.

I've been on it multiple times. If you're not in cattle class, it's nice. It sure is a sight to see at the gate.

It has been an interesting day for me, but a good one all the same.

I have never ever flown AF........

the only major european carriers i haven't flown are AF and KLM,

I make no warranty as to the validity of my statements......there are things happening that even I am not privy to....yet.
