I'm in so much pain though. Strained my left quad at the gym last night and then made it much worse tonight playing kickball. I need to rest up now so I can enjoy Chicago this weekend!

m/a/e all.... Well my jetlag has just about gone... I am missing all my friends in Canada ... its not everyday I don't want to go and get on a plane ... leaving YEG was one of those feelings

No wonder I woke up with a headache. And found about BD has gone different way.

I'm not liking your headache, SQLPP. The news about BD was heralded many months before, but it is still sad to see. Since the alternative was LH asset stripping BD and selling it off for parts, being sold as a going concern to BA/IB is a far better alternative.

Especially as I haven't bothered to redeem any of my BD miles, knowing they may yet be worth something is a plus.

As an aside to BD, I'm very happy to see EVA Air entering the Star Alliance.

Been to the Uk many times... walked past Buckingham, but I've never taken the tour. I loved my visit to Hampton Court though. Windsor wasn't very exciting, IMO.

Good m/a/e all. I'm about to start my last shift in my secret undercover role as the Easter Bunny at a local mall. I've been doing this for the last couple of weeks as a favor to a friend, and it has made for some rather interesting people-watching. It's fun seeing how both adults and children react to a large furry bunny waving at them.

Windsor is my local. I don't expect it to be exciting, just free as in beer, and convenient.

But you are right, the towers where people have lost their heads are far more interesting: Tower of London, Hampton Court, Dover Castle...

I think we are hard-wired as a species, that if it's large and furry and looking at us - not to ignore it. It may have teeth. Or friends.
