They sang Happy Birthday to six other people at the restaurant tonight! Happy Birthday wishes to your Gram! Early Happy Birthday wishes to you!
Good M/A/E Everybody
Good M/A/E All my twins
So I'm happy to meet you in DXB desamo/deirdre
Thanks Mary Poppins Travelsavant
Good mae from SoCal!!
It'll be windy and 50F for my run...guess I brought UK weather with me!!
Good m/a/e from SFO! They've now added a TSA person within the line to check boarding passes--he was looking for a number. Whatever that means. I told him I though that was airServ's job. His response--it doesn't hurt. My response--it doesn't help either. I had to laugh when the AirServ document checker got distracted by a passerby and she didn't ask to see my boarding pass. Of course they are back to the State Your Name Stupidity.
What a surprise. I boarded and was greeted by Frank Dean. My absolute favorite UA FA! Many of you may know that Frank is the FA who arranges access for us to the SFO Maintenance Center every October at Friends and Family Day. This is going to be a great flight!
A friend left yesterday for Boston marathon this weekend.
I would rather fly than run.
I remember about Sunday because it's also my brother's b'day.
Happy birthday (for tomorrow, since I'll be flying) Pat & G_G!
good m/a/e everyone from Beijing - 1 TPAC flight to/from Asia down, 7 more to go
Ice cream sundae birthday cake on board?
Yay! Thanks MPers for your help!
I have a special offer just for my favorite Milepointers (all of you!)
I need an AA systemwide upgrade for a trip on April 21. I will requalify for EXP in May, so can return it any time after that. And just for Milepointers - I'll also give you a free 12.5k oneway domestic award*. Please save me from the evils of Economy!
*(if I clear the waitlist, that is! )
Even better, today they opened the ticket booking classes we wanted on the flight we really wanted. One phone call, 35 minutes (AF does not like to work with DL on the weekend), and we were reassigned to the flight to Paris we really wanted, with the seats we really wanted, and still $50 cheaper per tickets.
Gott'a love flight alerts, and the DL DM desk like clients that tell them exactly what they want to do and why (saves all a lot of time)
if my SWU had not expired, I would totally help out. sorry.
No problem! The offers are pouring in now Thanks all!
Wow... didn't even realize that we had hail and lightning here in the Bay Area until I read this board. Guess that sleeping pill really did knock me out the other night!
oh... and Good M/A/E everyone! Back to sunny and beautiful in the Bay Area!
Managed to 'travel' up to the lake this week-end. Ice change of scenery. Goldie is holding court. The weather is beautiful! Safe 'real' travels to all this week-end!
Okay, it is now after midnight in the UK, so it is time to say, with heartfelt glee....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAT89339!
Me still standing upright ... this is in the lot Paramount used to part the Red Sea in the 10 Commandments.
I wish! No, it was a breakfast flight. But I did win the Halfway to Hawaii game and instead of the Oahu guidebook I got a bottle of champagne. Good enough for mimosas in the morning.
Thanks Scott! Although this weekend is full of parties and dinners, there won't be as many in attendance as last year's record of 45!
Thanks Will! Happy flying to you!
Happy Birthday to your brother!
Does this mean you are MAKING OUT with DL? Another fallin' in love?
Definitely mimosas are way better than sundae!
Thank you on his behalf.
