Let's see: Hilton, food, New Zealand - yes, turning somewhat green, which it is not easy being, according to muppet frog wisdom...

But as for graceful, I am reminded of Fly Gracefully whom I met in PRG...another road warrior on the road, who had actual grace, but not height, and so was not one from which to fall.

adl73x reality today is running back and forth to Oxford twice in the drizzle so that one car can get Mrs adl73x to work, a little 73x to a birthday party, and me to LHR by this evening for Sunday to get the jump on Monday.

Safe travels all, and have a random rain and bus shot for atmosphere.

Are you going for the Lufthansa 748 on June 1?

I wont be on the first flight, but I like my itinerary better :

I am going to be in FRA on the 31st for the Press event introducing the aircraft on the eve of the first flight. Then will be on the last ever LH flight from FRA to SXF (schoenefeld) at 11:30p on June 2(SXF closes permanently on June 2), then will be in BER for the opening ceremonies for the new airport on the 3rd, then back to FRA on the 3rd, then on the 747-8i home on the 4th.

Sounds awesome!

I was trying to get an award on FRA-IAD, but not available using UA miles.

I was able to book a C award on the 4th on that flight. Nothing showing on the inaugural. But dont give up. inventory opens closer in.

I'm sitting here in the LHR T5 Flounge for an extended spell thanks to the drought we are not having. It has not stopped raining for over a week. All flights are delayed. Still Britsperts are claiming in all news media we are having a drought, albeit a very wet one.

If my voice of dissent, and the evidence of the eyes and galloshes of the other 66 million of us were not enough, these two ducks I saw today have had it with the raging torrent that is their creek, and have started swimming in peoples lawn.

I would not say I am irregular. I would say I am regularly irregular

I will not leave it to bobsgt to suggest you try prunes, which I am sure he would have said if he were here.

I would say trying prunes will definitely make me irregular here

The departure time on the Flounge monitor keeps creeping further into the future.

Fortunately the fruit cake's good until October.

And I spent the afternoon hanging out on the terrace of the RC at the Hyatt SFO. What a glorious day!

And for those who don't know what you're looking at. In the center is Coit Tower (on Russian Hill), the spires to the left are Sts. Peter and Paul Church in North Beach, the bright Neon lights are the strip clubs on Broadway and you can see Alcatraz in the water just to the left of Russian Hill.
